Summer High School Academy in Florence

This new, one-week program provides high school students with the opportunity to live and learn at La Pietra, NYU's center in the heart of Florence, Italy. Two study options are available—one focusing on the exciting world of food and beverage, the other on fashion. Both immerse students in the local environment, providing a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the cuisine and the style of one of the world's most beautiful and historic cities.

The NYUSPS High School Academy Career Edge program offers high school students the opportunity to live and learn in the heart of New York City, the cultural and financial capital of the world. These one-week, professionally oriented intensive programs of study allow you to explore career options and to gain the competitive edge when applying for college. Meet, live, and learn with students from around the world as you build your confidence and your knowledge. Taught by top industry professionals, courses are enhanced by field trips, guest lectures, and hands-on projects.

Summer Aspire Program

NYUSPS High School Academy Aspire is a scholarship program for rising high school juniors (current sophomores) from underrepresented communities who will be first-generation college students. Aspire is a two-year college prep and immersion program that features a variety of workshops, which prepare students for the college admissions process and the college experience. The program begins with a one-week college immersion intensive in the summer.

In addition to excellent grades, the college admissions process requires that high school students demonstrate they are serious about their academic and professional future. The NYU School of Professional Studies High School Academy offers weekend workshops during the fall, winter, and spring that provide high school students with the opportunity to explore their professional options and to enhance their college portfolio.

Summer College Program

The NYUSPS Summer College Program is a two-week course of study that combines the rigor of college-level work with the opportunity to live and learn in New York City. Students have the option of focusing their studies in three areas—data analytics, financial management and analysis, or urban development—as seen through the lens of real estate, hospitality and tourism, and sports. They will earn college credit upon successful completion of the program.
